God provided for Elijah and Elijah trusted God without a doubt. For as long as they needed the oil and the flour it did not run out. ![]() But, God did something amazing for Elijah and the widow. The widow didn’t want to do this at first because she only had enough oil and flour to make one more meal and she didn’t want to waste her food. Elijah asked a widow to use all of the food that she had to make him some bread. Say, When the brook began to dry up, God found another way to provide for Elijah. ![]() Birds don’t bring people food, but Elijah trusted that God would take care of him and he did. Next God told Elijah that he would be ok because ravens were going to feed him. Elijah was a Prophet who greatly trusted the Lord. The first amazing thing that happened was that God spoke to him and warned him that there would not be any rain for a few years. Say, Many amazing things happened to Elijah during his life. The amazing things that happened to Elijah weren’t by chance, God made these things happen so that Elijah would be cared for.īiblical Evidence: Begin the lesson by reading 1 Kings 17:1-6.
